the fourth annual Gospel
Singing Jamboree on Sat
urday, May 20 at the Wal
ton County Agricultural
Education Center, 1208
Criswell Road, Monroe.
The event will start
at 2 p.m. with the Pied
mont Southern Gospel
Music Hall of Fame and
the singing beginning at 3
p.m.. Groups include The
Trammell Family, Tracy
Maxwell, Stanley Pierce,
The Spiritual Voices and
more along with Clarke
Kesler and Friends. BBQ
plates will be for sale by
Hawg and Chicks BBQ.
Midway Christian
Church will host Vaca
tion Bible School from
6:15-8:30 p.m. June 4-8.
The closing program will
be held on June 9. The
theme this year is “Maker
FunFactory.”
Supper will be provid
ed for the children each
evening.

Methodist Church offers
a Parents Morning Out
program on Wednesdays,
from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m.
Parents Morning Out
is a weekly program that
provides childcare for
children six months old
through pre-school age.
The cost is $10 per child
(sibling discount).
Participants will pay by
the month.
The program is held in
Room 131 in the Pasley
Family Life Center at the
back of the church locat
ed at 280 North Broad
St., Winder. Registration
forms are available at the
church office, Family Life
Center lobby and at drop
off on Wednesdays.

food box you must bring

bers and a current bill
with your name on it,”
organizers said.
