The event, led by Pastor Shane Hill, will take place at 1389 Atlanta Highway SE, Winder, and will be open to the public with an evening service on the grounds to follow the groundbreaking. “We just recently had our 10-year anniversary and after a four-year wait for loans and permits we are finally able to break ground so this is a really exciting, historical time for our church,” said Kelsey Mobley. “We hope to con tinue to grow and reach our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.” Cedar Creek Baptist Church will be holding Vacation Bible School from 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 4-8.
