City of Auburn Qualifying Fee and Election Notice
Pursuant to 0.C.G.A §21-2-132, you are hereby notified that there will be a Municipal General
election held by the Barrow County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office on
Tuesday, November 7,2017.
The following are the qualifying fees for the local offices to be filled in the 2017 Municipal
General Election:

Qualifying will begin Monday, August 21,2017 at 8:30 a.m. and end Friday, August 25,2017 at

Fourth Avenue in Auburn.
The Municipal General Election will be held at the Midway United Methodist Church located
at 215 Kilcrease Rd. Auburn, on Tuesday, November 7,2017. If a Runoff is necessary, it will be
held at the same location on Tuesday, December 5,2017.
The polling location will he open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Advance
voting will be held at the Barrow County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office,
located at 233 E. Broad St. Winder and will begin Tuesday, October 16,2017 at 8:00 a.m. and
will continue each business day 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Friday, November 3,2017. Any
resident of the City of Auburn who desires to vote in the election and who is not already
registered to vote must do so on or before Monday, October 10,2017. Inquiries can be made to
