Miracle Deliverance Holi

Food Bank, is now giving out
food every Thursday to those
in need from noon until 2 p.m.
inside the church.
"In order to receive a food
box you must bring ID, Social
Security cards for all house
hold members and a current
bill with your name on it,”
organizers said.

Library has a newly-reno
vated meeting room avail
able to non-profit orga
nizations, businesses and
groups. The public is wel
come to book the room
for approved educational
programs, civic meetings,
cultural events and exhib
its. No commercial pur
poses or personal social
events such as weddings,
showers, reunions or any
other such event that is
intended to be private, are
allowed.
Events and meetings
must be open to the public
and no admission fees can
be charged.
A non-refundable daily
fee of $75 is charged or
a $25 fee for non-profits.
A written application
available at the library
should be submitted at
least 48 hours in advance.
The space is available
beginning at 9 a.m.
Monday through Satur
day. The 150-occupancy
room has a small kitchen
with refrigerator, micro-
wave and sinks for light
refreshments, an in-ceil
ing projector with large
screen for presentations
along with new confer
ence tables and newly-re-
upholstered chairs sup
plied.

Rural Women in Action
will host its fifth annu
al conference Saturday,
April 14, from 10 a.m.
to 3 p.m. at White Oak
Spring Missionary Bap
tist Church. Lunch will
be provided by Diane
Kinney.
The conference will
feature a “powerful mes
sage of hope and empow
erment,” titled "Under
Construction,” leaders
stated.
The conference will
focus on boys and young
men in communities by
providing interactive
activities, workshops,
tools and resources along
with a panel of moti
vational guest speakers
who are "ready to edu
cate, equip and empower
them,” leaders said.
The panel includes
special guest speakers
William Francis of the
AFIA Center (Atlanta
Faith in Action), Sandy
Rogers of the self-titled
Sandy Rogers Blog-
TalkRadio station and
Jamie Dove, Captain 436
