Woman assaults ex-girlfriend,
takes another woman’s property
De’Ambri Britney Cassidy, 21,
740 Walnut Woods Dr., was arrested
recently by the Braselton Police
Department after an officer had to
pull her off another woman.
Cassidy had reportedly gone to
Houndstooth Bar and Grill to cause
a scene with an ex-girlfriend. She
stole another woman’s vehicle keys
and phone and left.
But the ex-girlfriend was outside
the restaurant and told her to give
the phone and keys back. Cassidy
tossed the items in the grass near
the woman and then jumped on the
ex-girlfriend in front of an officer.
Cassidy was charged with simple
assault.
OTHER ARRESTS
Other recent arrests made by the
Braselton PD include:
•Mark Keving Brewington, 24,
101 Sunydale Circle - possession of
methamphetamine, wanted person
apprehended, possession of mar
ijuana, possession of drug related
object. An officer noticed the smell
of marijuana coming from a vehi
cle that matched a description of a
vehicle that someone complained
about earlier. The officer searched
the vehicle and found marijuana,
methamphetamine and objects used
to take other drugs.
•Kenneth Farrace Britt, 65. 37
Keys Lane - public indecency. An
employee at McDonald’s com
plained about Britt coming through
the drive-thru while exposing and
rubbing his penis. She knew his
name because he pays with his debit
card and she noticed that he works
at Ingles. Officers went to the Ingles
in Flowery Branch and arrested him.

the Braselton PD include:
•information on Highway 124
where a man complained about
someone he works with threatening
to blow up the building they work
in.
•information on Spout Springs
Road where a woman caught some
one stealing from her store. She
called the person and they agreed to
bring them items back.
•information on Highway 211
where a woman had police break
into her father’s residence to check
on him. The woman and officers
found the father deceased in his
bathroom.
•possession of marijuana and pos
session of drug related object on
Highway 211 where officers pulled
over a vehicle with a badly cracked
windshield. During the stop, the
officer clearly saw devices used to
smoke marijuana and searched the
vehicle for marijuana.
•information on Broadway Ave
nue where a man wanted to file a
report for a fight he was involved
in at work.
•damage to property on Broadway
Avenue where a man said his vehi
cle was hit in the parking lot at the
warehouse he works at.
Two arrested by
Auburn Police
Two individuals were
recently arrested by the
Auburn Police Depart
ment. Those arrested and
their charges were:
•Alfred Hampton,
46, 186 Parks Mill Rd„
Auburn, outstanding
arrest warrant. Hampton
was arrested when the car
he was a passenger in
was stopped on County
Line-Auburn Rd. due to a
nonoperational tail light.
•Ryan Jeffrey Quinn,
26, 316 Carter Rd., Lot
74, Auburn, outstanding
arrest warrant. Quinn was
taken in the lobby of the
Auburn Police Depart
ment.

around in a circle in the
mud causing mud holes
in the gravel parking area.
