Yard sale to
benefit Camp
Amplify
A yard sale is planned
Saturday, May 12. from
7 a.m. to noon to benefit
Camp Amplify.
This mission-team fund
raiser will be held rain or
shine at Union Grove Bap
tist Church. Auburn.
ABOUT CAMP
Camp Amplify will be
held June 16-20 in the
Smokey Mountains (Ocoee.
Tenn.). It's for ages 7-12.
“Our model is to part
ner with local groups who
provide the campers,” said
organizer Chris Tarver.
“That way they continue
to be developed, not sim
ply have a week long great
camp experience, that does
not truly make a differ
ence.”
Planned activities include
wave pool/lazy river, a
huge water slide, rock wall,
multiple lake activities, zip
lines, ropes courses and
paint ball.
“What we are looking for
are partners like schools,
churches, Boys and Girls
Clubs, etc. who want to
have a great week long,
overnight, summer camp
for their students,” Tarver
said. “We are also looking
for folks who would like to
partner with us in sponsor
ing a child for a day, or a
week, a Corp. 100 sponsor.
We are also looking for vol
unteers as mission teams.”
A fundraising dinner is
also planned for the camp

later.
