of Transportation (Georgia
DOT) is placing project infor
mation for review and feed
back into a virtual meeting
room posted on the projects’
website to allow citizens to
review and comment on the
proposed project. We ap
preciate your participation in
this process.

to State Route SR 316 at
Kilcrease Road (P.l. No.
0013902) and SR 316 at
Carl-Bethlehem Road (P.l.
No. 0013903).
As part of Georgia DOT’S
effort to improve mobility,
potentially reduce crashes,
and improve traffic flow con
ditions along SR 8/SR 316/
US 29, the current at-grade
crossings of SR 316 with
Kilcrease Road and Carl-
Bethlehem Road are being
considered for reconstruc
tion. These proposed recon
struction projects consist of
creating a grade-separated
interchange (roundabout
controlled) at Kilcrease
Road and constructing a
new overpass bridge that
would connect Carl-Bethle
hem Road across SR 316,
removing direct access to
SR 316 from Carl-Bethle
hem Road.
The purpose of this vir
tual public information open
house (PIOH) is to provide
an opportunity for the pub
lic to review the proposed
projects, provide feedback,
and submit questions and
comments for the project’s
record.
On October 19th, from
4:00pm to 6:00pm, Geor
gia DOT will host a live,
virtual PIOH presentation
and question and answer
session. On the day of the
event, access information
will be posted on the project
website, provided above.
