Bits O’ Beauty
.t LET THE LITTLE ONES COME.
1 tliink—~when I read that sweet story of old,
When Jesus was here among men, ;
- How he called little children fvS lambs to His fold,
I should like to have heen with Him t,hén';
I wish that His hands had been placed on my head,
That His arm had been throw"n around me;
And that I might have seen His kind look when He said
“Let the little ones come unto me!” .
Yet still to His footstool in prayer I'may go,
And ask for share in His love; » g X
And,'if I now earnestly seek Him below, :
I shall see Him and hear Him above
In that beautiful place He has gone to prepare,
For all that are washed and fogiven; " - i
And many dear children are gathering there,
“For of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.”
But thousands and thousands who wander and fall,
Never heard of that heavenly home;
1 should like them to know thare is room for them all,
And that Jesus has bid them to come.
I long for the joy of that glorious time,
The sweetest, and brightest, and best,
When the dear little children of every clime
Shall crowd to His arms and be blest.

The gigantic task of moving an entire city is slowly nearing completion
in’ Minnesota. The City of Hibbing, which had reached the dignity of 10,
000 population, with substantial brick building; and a street car line, is
being moved to a new site to permit the mining of rich deposits of iron
ore upon which it stood. Photo shows the Colonial Hotel, a three story
structure on the move to New Hib bing.

HENRY LORD BETTERS
RAILROAD EARNINGE
During its first month under I“ord
control, September, the Detroit, To
ledo & Irouten Railrcad increased
its gross earnings more than 20 per
cent over any previous month. Oc¢-
toher, 1919, the next bhest month,
shcwed earnings cf $430,830, where
as September, 1950, Drought forth
$664,492, an increase of over $133,
000. The fact that the yoad was
taken over by Henry Ford on Sep
tember st makes this particularly
neteworthy.
Mr. Ferd plans first to put the
D. T. & 1. in crder to assure De
troit of a coal supply all the wvear
round. But he has a much brcad
er view of the future activities of
the rcad than merely supplying fuel
and materials to his cwn factories
He expects to use it for the develop
ment cf the country which the road
traverses. :
In crder to complete his plans by
which scolid ccal trains may be run
continuously, he made a personal in
spection cof all the grades and brid
ges over the 454 cof miles ¢f main
track, in his automobile, he traver
sed a considerable length of the
line, visiting the towns aleng ite
rcute. (He made a special peint cf
visiting the roundhouses and shops
and conversing with the mechanics
He went cout with repair gangs and
examined every unit cof the road’s
mctive pcwer. THe made decisions
about rails, new shops, and loading
peints even before the deal%was con
cluded. f
Cempletely convxinced the D. T
&. I. is able to supply Detroit and
Michigan with fuel, Henry Fovd
made all his plans with this in
mind.
