- Bits O’ Beauty
A /LITTLE HAND.
Perhaps there are tenderer, sweeter
things
Somewhere in this sun-bright land;
But I thank Thee, Lord, )for Thy
glessing
And the clasp of a little hand.
‘A little hand that softly stole
Into my own that day,
{When I needed the touch that 1
. loved so much
To strengthen me on my way.
Softer it seemed than the softest
down
Onzthe breast of the gentlest dove;
But its timid press and its faint car
ess . |
Were strong in the strength of love.
It seemed tc say in a strange, sweet
way,
“I :love you and understand,”
And plaimed my fears as my hot
heart tears |
Fell over that little hand.

“What about the salary?" asked the cinema star. :
“Well” replied the m anager, after thinking a -
little, “suppose we call it $5,000 a week.” i
“Al right,” the actor replied.
“Of course, y<;u understand,” the manager went :
on ‘“that the $5,000 is w hat we call it. You really
get $5OO a week.”
And the above applies to many stores wha call
their valus tremendous or ‘“greatest ever,” but ;
there's a vast difference in the value the customer
actually receives for their money. Our offerings
are based on an ‘“actual value basis” and when we . .
offer a $l.OO article for 75¢ you can be suce that the "
article actually gells for and is worth $l.OO. This is
a safe place to buy your:® hardware needs because
you can be sure that yo u get 100 per cent vulne
for every dollar you spnd at this store. Think of E
us when vou need Hardware,
