chasing, installing, construeting and
equipping an eleetrie light and power
plant and general lighting system in
connvetion with the waterworks system
of the city, to be owned and operated

rate of five pereent per annum, payable
semi-annually on the first days of Aug

Walker, city clerk of Cedartown, in re
ply to a letter from Mayor J. (inrtlnnl
Jones of Coxgdele, shows that the city of
Cedartown reeeived more than $#12,000,-
00 in free service during the vear 1920
and paid into the city treasury the sum
of $8,500,60, according to the official
auditor’s report for its clectric light
and power plant ‘at a rate just half that
which the Cordele people are now pay
ing.
Mr. Walker’s letter follows:
