DELIGHTFUL DINNER
On Wednesday Mrs. M. R. Smitlk
was the gracious hostess, entertain
ing a nmbher of out-of-town guests
with a delightful mid-day dinner at
her home on Thirteenth avenue. The
pretiily appointed table had a cen
tral decoration cof daffodils and fern
en a lace pilece. Individual cherry
pies with a tiny American flag in
the center of each, were symbhols of
‘Washington’s birthday. The unique
place cards were minature hatchets
A most delicious repast consisting of
six courses was served. Covers were
placed for Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Evans.
