SCHEDULE CLOSED WITH CON
TEST OF RARE SPEED |
} A large crowd was out yesterday
afternoon to see the Crackers send
the Reds down to defeat, nine to
seven, in the last game of the sea
son. It was a hard contest from
start to finish, both teams fighting
like wild cats right up to the last in
ning. If the Crackers had lost yes
terday another game would have had
to been played, but by winning they
held their position in second place.
The Crackers took the lead in the
first inning, but by hard playing
the Reds forged ahead and after the
second inning they were in the lead
by one run, Both teams tightened
up and for a time the outcome was
doubtful, but when the end of the
game came in the sixth inning the
Crackers were two runs ahead of
their opponents. Many good plays
and some good hits were made by
both sides.
Everybody has been well pleased
with the baseball season this sum
mer and all look forward to next
year's games, The Reds and Crack
ers are to be guests at a barbecte
given by the other teams, the date
to be given out later. ‘
Batteries for yesterday: Reds, Lot
ridge and Thornton. Crackers, Mil-
Jer and Lewis. :

Drink Water
If Back or
Kidneys Hurt
Too much rich food forms acids which
excite and overwork the kidneys in
their efforts to filter it from the system,
Flush the kidneys occasionally to re
lieve them like you relieve the bowels,
removing acids, waste and poison, else
you may feel a dull misery in the kid
ney region, sharp pains in the back or
sick headache, dizziness, the stomach
sours, tongue is coated, and when the
weather is bad you have rheumatic
twinges. The urine is cloudy, full of
sediment, the channels often get irri
tated, obliging one to get up two or
three times during the night.
To help neutralize these irritating
acids and flush off the body’s urinous
waste, begin drinking water. Also get
about four ounces of Jad Salts from
any pharmacy, take a tablespoonful in
a iglaSS of water before breakfast for
a few days and your kidneys may then
act fine and bladder disorders disappear.
This famous salts is made from the
acid of grapes and lemon guice, com
bined with lithia, and has been used
for years to help clean and stimulate
sluggish kidnegs and stop bladder irri
tation. Jad Salts is inexpensive and
makes a delightful effervescent lithia
water drink which millions of men and
women take now and then to help pre
vent serious kidney and bladder dis
orders. e e
wfi; all means, drink lots of good water
every day. Have your physician exam
ine your kidneys at least twice a year.
