Hall, 61 manager of the waterworks at Raytown, Mo., believe he rlaced the bell on the belled . buzzard killed recently near Comer Ga. The sfarmer who shot the bird reported that the bell bore the date 1882. Hall caught the buzzard on® his grandfather’s farm near Spring* field, Ky., in 1885, tied the bell to its neck, turned it lecose. 4 “Y the bell is examined carefully. Tests showed the two noisest points about the cataracts were at the foot of the American fall at Prospect Point and directly in front of the cave of the winds be low Goat Islapd. The noise meas urcments at these points was 70 units, classified as deafening noise. Both points registered higher un'ts o 1 noice meacurements than New York’s noisiest corner.
