Roof Of Lyons School
Building Is Blown Down
~ LYONS, Ga., May 13—The high
wind and electric storm here Mon--
day took off the roof of the old
Lyons high school building. The end
including the auditorium had been|
torn down under a contract and the
material was being used in the con-;
struction of new building. It was
thought the roof over the main
building was securely fastened but'
the wind brought it and two steeples
down into the street. This will ne
cessitate using various buildings
around Lyons to accomodate the 500

all over Toombs county and was!|
much needed by the tobacco and|
