South Carolinian Took Black-

Says He Could Soon Eat
. . Anything, :
Billentine;B. ~C—Mr. . W._ B.
Bouknight, of 'this place, gave the
following account .of. his use of |
Thedford’s Black-Draught. >
“Just after I married I had indi
gestion. Working out, I got in the
habit of eating fast, for which I
soon paid by having a tight, bloated
fecling after meals. This made mo
very uncomfortable. I wonld feecl
stupid and drowsy, didn’t feel like
working., 1 was told it was indi
gestion.. Some one recommended
Black-Draught and I took it after
meals. I soon could <at anything
any time.
“I use it for colds and bilious
ness and it will knock out a cold
and carry away the bile better and |,
quicker than any liver medicine I §
have ever found.” 5
Fating Yoo fast, too much, or
faulty chewing of your food, often
causes digomfm't after meals. A
pinch of “Black-Draught, washed
down withya swallow of water, will
help to br&g prompt relief. PBloat
ed g sensations, eructations, bad
breath and'other comzon symptoms
of indigestion have disappeared
after BlaclkeDraught has been taken
for several-days. NC-164

MORERN STAGE 'S |
DISGUSTING, SAYS ACTRESS
CHICAGO, May 25—-(.‘P)—-—-“Thol
modern legitimate stage is disgust
ing,” said Mrs. Lionel Barrymore.
“It wanders to the most vulgar
tastes of the publie. I'do not blame
actors and actresses who stick to the
movies When the stage demands them
so paiently to lower themselves.”
Mre, Barrymore accompanied by
Mzrs, H, B. Warner, wife of the actor,
- not the prodtcer, stopyed here on
their. way from New iork to thew
. heme in Beverly Hills, Calif, It was
in New Youk that they saw some of
the shows that excited their disgust.
Myps. Barrymore continued:
“It is not because I dizlike the
theater that I say the present trend
is course. In fact, I prefer the stage
to the sereen myself, but I may go
back into the movies.”

Wheén tgrpid, feed it gland
I The way; to treat glands is with
gland. scffetions,, Modern medi
cine has mlade no greater discovery.
Now - res"flts ‘are. brought which
never were dreamed of in old
days. '/
The liver is the largest, most im
portant gland. When inactive, it
nceds ox‘gall. No drug has ever
done what ox gall is now doing for
the lbver
/' Why You Feel Il
Torpid: liver means more than
c_tostipation, more than indigestion
radtly mere.
iThe Tiver supplies bile—a quart
a/ day. That bile checks intestinal
ierms, When it is scant, the germs
?rced by millions, and they feed
fi\) constant stream of poisons to the
/blgod.
|" Mhe quickest results are sallow
omplexions, dull eyes, falling hair.
Eut heart and kidney troubles often
esult from those poisons. Also
high blood pressure, also prema
ture old age.
/ Stop Those Pcisons
Stop those poisons by ‘renewing
the” bile supply. Do this in the
modern way. Use ox gall to stimu
late the liver.
Results begin in 24 hours. In a
day or twe they are often un
believable. Many can gain new
health and vitality by the use of ox
gall. And to some the results will
be priceless. You owe to yoursclf
| a test. |
. But get genuine ox gall. The |
fame of this trcatment has led to
much deceit. Ask your druggist
for Dioxol tablets. lach one con
tains ten dror% of purified ox gall.
Remember that name — Dioxol.
Then you will learn what this new
method can do. ILecarn it without
delay. All your future may be
changed by the results.”
