FIFTH AVENUE SEWING
CIRCLE HOLDS MEETING.
The Fifth Avenue Sewing Cluk
held its weekly meeting Thursday af
ternoon at the home of Mrs. H. D
Puckett. After an hour of sew
ing, a delicious salad corse was
served. The number present wa:

carried on for a year and is one of

SOCIAL EVENTS FOR SISTER.
Mrs. O. V. Werdt left this after
noon for Atlanta, to be present at a
shower in the afternoon and a re
ception at night for her sister, Miss
Lucile Carswell, who is to be mar-l
ried June 26th. The reception is to
be given by the groom’s parents.
Mrs. Werdt will then leave for
Macon where she will attend numer
ous other entertainments for Miss
Carswell. Mrs. Werdt will be matron
of honor in the wedding, I
