Four men were injured today wher
the boiler of the Macken Cranite
company, a quarry two miles from
here, exploded.
None of the injured is reported
seriougly hurt., Wiley Cochran, white
was badly bruised as the result of
the expiosion, and Jim Thomag, ne
gro fireman, was badly scalded., The
building housing the boiler, of 80.

The explosion is thought to have
been caused when cold water wae
