by Mrs. J. L. Hancock at her home
on Fourth street in celebration of

room. In the dining room, pink and‘
white crepe paper was tied from th("
chandelier to the four corners of thel
table, at each corner of which were |
pink candles in silver caundlesticks. !
The snowy birthday cake was a(im'n-!
cd with four tiny candles, one for
each year of the young honorce. l
Refreshments of cake aand eream|
were served on the lawn and the lit-l
tle tqts made a lovely picture. Fa-|
vors of suckers and chewing goum!
