. Buick because so many people
make it their first choice among ail motor cars,
They have discovered that other cars, priced
. the same as Buick, are not even close to Buick .
in value,
Volume production enables Buick to give you
2 lot better car for a very moderate price.
' Do not be misled into driving a second-choie
car. Compare the new car offered you to Buick,
before you let go of your money!

FOWER MATTER APPEALED
-
MOULTRIE, Ga., June 26—(4)—
The Supreme Court has been called
on to decide whether the city ol
Moultrie has a rieht to require water
and licht consumers, who .do not
own meters, to make a deposit guar.
antecing payinent of their bills. An
ordinance to that effeet was passec
several months ago, but a temporary
injunction granted by Judge W. E
Thomas of the Southern cireuit, r.re-l
vented it going into effect, Judge
Thomas has dissolved the injunctior
and the protesting citizens have ap
pealed to the high court.
The city officials here assert th:ltl
nearly all of the cities in the country
ccauire constumers to post suarantces
and that in passing ‘the ordinance
“they were moved by a desire to pre.
vent the city from sustaining losees
that grow out of unpaid water and
light bille.,” There is conziderable
)'jecl, inn to ihe ordinance and re.
gardless of the Supreme courl’s de
cision the matter is cxpected to play
an important part in the municipa’
campaign here in September. At that
time a majority of the members ol
city council are to be elected, ;
