FOR FUNERAL AT HARMONY
CHURCH,
The remaing of J." W.. Lemon who
died July 2 at River Junction, Fla,,
were brought back to Harmony church
yesterday, east of Vienna In Dooly
county, and laiq to rest. The funeral
service was largely aitended by rela-
Illven and old friends.
I Mr. Lemon was about 70 years of
age. He came to Dooly county fifty
years ago from Buits. his native
eounty, -He lived here until about
seven years ago when he moved to
Florida. He was a’'life long member
of the Methodist church and a good
citizen, His death will be the cause
of sorrow throughout the whole com
munity.
Mrs. Lemon, his widow, and eight
children survive. The children are:
Mrs, J. W. Thurmond, of Pinehurst;
William Lemon of Cairo; Mrs. D. B.
Braswell of Cordele; Mrs. P. N. Thom
as, S. L. Lemon,. Ernest,’ Carl, and
Miss Grace Lemon, all of River Jmn;-
tion. .
