GIVES FOURTH OF JULY PARTY
FOR MISS SHIVER.
The party given yesterday at the
home of Mrs. E. L. Kiker for hei
daughter, Mrs. John Williams Jr.
and her guest, Miss Frances Shiver
of Americus was beautiful in every
detail, the patriotic colors being uszed
in the decorations, score cards znd
refreshments. The flowers used were
only red white and blue, as it was
Fourth of July party. '
The guests were entertained in the
spacious living room which was beau
tifully adorned with quantities of
red, white and blue flowers. Twc
tables for bridge were placed here
and refreshments consisting of a de.
licious salad course with iced ter
was servede. The guesit of honor was
presented with a box of Princess Pat
powder.
Only G. 8. C. W. girls were invited
former classmates of Mrs. Williams

In the entrance hall the birthday
cake encircled by a wreath of feath.

were confined to the table by fluffy
bows of pink ribbon. ;
Following a delicious cream course
the tiny guests surrounded the table
to enjoy a slice of the birthday cake
singing in concert: “Many . Birth
days to You.” ]
