~ There was a large crowd of people
at the Cordele Swimming Pool last
night to greet little Migses Beulah
Elliot and Jeanette Dekle when they
appeared in the Charleston programn
in an effort to decide as to which
should carry off the five dollar prize
offered by Mr. Frank E. Williams.
They were graceful and went into the
< hattle with zest and grace that
* brought applause from the spectators,
The judges divided the prize between
thém, Mrs. Edgar Fletcher played for
them during the contest.

District Attorney Guy B. Moore to
day crdered a charge of first degrec
murler filed agairst Jumes G, Voel
ker, alleged distr.outor of poison
liquor which h2y caused fourteen
deatas in Buftalo, Voelker walked
into police headqguarters unexpect

“We have evidence to show that
Voelker knew he was gelling wood

ern New York and Ontario. Five man
