Bankers Trust Company, and four di
rectors of the company with misuse

the funds of members of a chain of
banks throughout Georgia, which
«closed when the Bankers Trust
Company and the Farmers Traders
Bank here failed several weeks ago,
include both joint-and individual
charges against Manley and officers
and directors of thle Trust Company

Nine additional witnesses were call
ed today to testify before the
United States grand jury investi
gating the affairs of W. D. Manley.
While the former financier remained
confined in a local hospital, Solicit

the jail delivery in Michigan state
reformatory in which twenty four
convicts escaped Saturday morning,
