Demicratic presidential nomination
in 1928 Ly four Missouri Congres
gional district Democratic com
mittees,
Ilis endorsement yesterday by the
Third, Fifth, Sixth and Eighth Dis
trict committee followed similar ac
tion recently by the Livingston
county democratic committee. The
Livingston group claimed to be the
first to adopt a resolution proposing
the senator as a presidential candi
date. Party leaders in various sec
tions of the state have since pledzed
their support to a “Reed for presi
dent program.”

tured the Senator’s activities as
