cutting Frank Rogerg, Wayneshoro
‘,vnulh, with a razor early Monday
morning, has been releazed by at
taches of the sheriff's office on the
posting of $5OO bond, after the
gwearing out of a warrant by John
Rogers, father of Frank Rogers. The
warrant charged gssault with intent
to murder.
In a statement through his attor
ney late Wednesday afternoon, Ter
rell denied statements eredited ¢
him in which he was quoted as =ay
ing he “would bave taken pleasire
in seeing Frank Rogers strangle o
death on hig own blood.” He also
eaid that he regretted the incident,
but felt himself justified in hiz act
adding that “when all the facts are
known, no one wiil blame me in the
least.”
Terrell concluded his statement by
saying:
“l hope Frank Rogers will soon
recover.” ;

Guard cutter 2344, attached to the

is unnamed, carried twenty-nine
cases. Captain Butler who was in
