Three vessels that sailed from Atlan
tic ports early in September manned
by appreximately 75 men, are feared
lost in southern waters according to
the New York maritime register. }
The vessels are the Trevose and
Golden Cape, British freighter, and
the Halekala, an American freighter
The Golden Cape and Halekala clear
ed from Norfolk, Va.. The Hala
kala sailed September 2 and the
Golden Cape September 5.
The Golden Cape was bound for
Rio Janiero and Halekala for Mont
viedo and Buenos Aires. The Trevos
sailed from Charleston, S. C., Sep
tember 8.
