BODY OF WILL WATT FOUND ON
ROADSIDE NEAR MUSCOGEE
HARRIS LINE; MURDER IS
THEORY.
COLUMBBUS, Ga., October 26—
(#)—The finding of the body of Will
Watt, 53-year-old farmer, by a road
side in Harris county just across the
Muscogee conty line this morning is
being investigated by officials of the
two counties today. The theory of
murder has been advanced.
According to reports received herz
Mr. Watt was last seen alive Sunday
afternoon about two o'clock. He is
helieved to have met death sometime
Sunday night. There are evidences,
it is stated, that he had been dealt
a heavy blow on the left side of
his head by some blunt instrument.
He was also injured on top of his
head and he had been bleeding from
his right ear. It is believed that the
body had been carried to the spo’
where it was found in an auto.

day followed the rare phenomenon
of a rainbow at night witnessed last
night.

not as clear as is usual in rainbows

(P)—Twenty-four prisoners who es
caped two Texas farms between Sat
urday night and this morning were
of large early today. As reports
came to local peace officers that five
of twenty-six prisoners who lefl the
DBlue Ridge farm barracks early Sun
day evening had been recaptured,
the Eastham state prison farm iffi
cials reported three white convicts
missing.
