HOME EVENT WEDNESDAY EVENING
A beautiful home wedding, centering
-the interest of a large circle of

six o’clock at the home of the bride’s
parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Wal

The impressive ring ceremony was

the Baptist church of Pinechurst. i
The decorations of the heme were
. most artistic. In the living room an
improvised altar was formed of ferns ‘
+and smilax. Pedestal baskets held
magnificient white chrysanthemgmsf
and pink tapers burned unshaded in?
silver candelabra. The globes in thef
chandeliers were veiled in pink. ]

26-—Clifford C. Martin, local police-
J".mn, who Wednesday night shot
himself after shooting and Kkilling
his friend, C. Spencer Gulick, died
Thursday of his wounds. No motive
‘was advanced by the police. Martin
‘and Gulick had been clese friends
and both were members of ‘the
American Legion. Martin formeriy
lived in Montgomery, Ala. Both men
veer married and leave three chil
dren,
