ROME, December 2-(#)—Pre
mier Mussolini’s policy of linking
Ttaly with all the Balkan nations by
treaties of friendship and coopera
tion has borne new fruit in the sign
ing at Tirana of an Italian-Alban
ian “pact of friendship and securi
ty” The treaty was signed on No
vember 27, an official announce
ment was made tonight.
Y The paet, which will be registered
immediately with the League of Na
tions, differs from those already
existing with J ugo:Slavia, Greéece and
Rumania, in that it’ is based on an
wjacteral guarantee by Italy of "Al
}}@"s t,erritorial'integrity and on
a mutual agreement to refrain from
making treaties with other nations
attesting the reciprocal interests of |
Italy and Albania.
The specific implication of Italy’s
guardianship of her ’trans_-Adriatic
neighboi is contained in Article I,
which reads “Italy and Albania recog
nize that any disturbance of ' Al
bania’s political, judicial and terri
torial status quo is contrary to their
reciprocal political interests.”
Tre exclusive character of Italy’s
Frotective position is set forth in
Article 11, which guarantees mutual
cordial cooperation by each con
tracting phrty and the promise “not
to conclude with other power po
litical: or military agreements pre
judicial to their mutual intefests."

Despite the introduction into the evi

Jos€ph Leiter was the only wit

in which his sister, the eountess of
Suffolk and Berks, and other rela

trustee of the-'Leiter estate on
charges of mismanagement. At the
hearing several months ago Leiter
insisted that he gave a careful ac-.
counting of his stewardship and to
day he was subjected to cross exami

The attorney for the countess of
Suffolk produced letters written Le

cigarettes is the way the. tobacco’s cut.
It staysright in the paper. Doesn’tdance
around with the first breeze that comes
along. That means less waste in both
tobacco and time. I can smoke one right

edge on my tongue or throat.
If you want to make the best little
cigarette you ever rolled, get, some
Prince Albert. Between times, try P. A.
