| Meat Loaf With Peas
One and one half pounds round
steak ground, one and one-half
pound sausage meat, one-half cup
bread crumbs, one medium-sized
onion, on-half green penper, chopped
fine, salt perper nad a pinch of poul
try seasoning, one egz, well beaten.
Mix well and form inio voll, place in
pan and roast in a slow oven for two
Jhours, basting often. Drain one can |
‘of peas, add milk, heat and thicken!

A good catsup that may be madei
at ‘any time during the winter is
made of one quart cranberries, one!
cup water, two cups vinegar. Tie in
a riece of muslin a few cloves, four
whole allspice, a tablespoon broken
stick einnamon and some mace. Sim
mer all together until fruit is soft.%
Press torough collander, then addi
two cups brown sugar and simmer
