METHODIST BEGINNERS
HAVE XMAS TREE.
The children of the Beginners de
partment ‘of the Methodist Sunday
School had their annual Christmas
tree: on ‘Tuesday afternoon in the
lecture room of the church’ which
was beautifully deccrated wij:h Holly'
sprays and numerous red bells. On
the rostrom was the large, prettily
decorated tree representing a snow
scene, In the very top was a big
bright star, and Santa too, was

fruit whiéfi the little fclks brought

Miss Louise Fenn, sister of the

DIESI AFTER CROSSING CRASH
ANDERSON, S. C. Decembek 21—
When a fast Southern passenger train
struck the car in which they were
riding early last night at a grade
crossing in Central, Miss Annie Ad
ams, daughter of the matron of Lime
stone college, was killed a‘hd Thomas
Folger, her brother-in-law, and a
prominent mill man of Cenfral was
injured. -Both were brought to An
derson hospital. Miss Adams died
'some hours after the accident.
