ed approximately three hundred dol
lars. This is considered an excellent
showing ang tHose in charge are
highly pleased with the gifts made.
‘ A large gift made this morning was
’that coming from.the local Ku Klux
:organizatlon. This amounted to $756.00.
iAnother fine gift came from the Bap
{tist church amounting to $25.00. The
;Kiwanls club and various Sunday
cchool organizations in the ' churches
made gifts to the cause.
