Weds Four Couples
At a Single Service
EUFAULA, ALA., May 12.--Judge J.
1. Dozier, the ‘“Marrying 'Squire,”’ at
Georgetown, Ga., the Gretna Green
across the river, broke his record of
22 years to-day, when he married four
couples at a single ceremony.
Those whom he married were Miss
Ollie Snead and G. L. Morrison, of Clay
ton; Miss Leila Dominy and John C.

narrowly escaped serious injury
Monday afternoon, when a racing au
tomobile which he was driving turned
over at Ponce Del.eon avenue and
Boulevard. Stcne and a companion
who wasg with him were thrown out
of the car and severely bruised, The
car was almost demolished,
Stone was driving his automobile
down Boulevard, and when he turned
into Ponce DeLeon a ctret car and a
wagon were coming down the street
In order to avoid hitting either, Stone
steered his car against a tree at the
gide of the walk.
