Wiliams shows
art in St. Marys
St. Marys native Juanita
Williams will be sharing
with the public her love of
nature and art for the first
time at Olde Towne Gallery
this month.
Williams comes from a
family of talent inherited
from both parents.
She as well as her six sib
lings are full of various
artistic skills. As a child her
parents taught her to draw,
and by the time she was a
teenager she was painting in
oils.
Now Williams paints her
favorite subjects, land and
seascapes, in both oils and
acrylics. Sometimes she
paints subjects reminiscent
of the Mediterranean and
Italy. Other times the
scenes are familiar coastal
scenery, and all done with
great detail.
Williams, a nurse with a
medical degree, is now
working for a degree in
Christian counseling and
finds painting to be the best
way for her to relax.
While painting she can
admire the beauty of the
subject she depicts and also
fulfill her need for creativ

These paintings will be
on display along with that
of many other coastal
artists' work through the
month of August at the
gallery located at 304 Os
