Whitfield appeared in court last Wednesday, April 24 to have either bond set or denied for his role in the murders. Whitfield will remain in the Jenkins County Jail until the time for his trial, the Grand Jury convenes in June to determine indictment. Whitfield, 28, of Waynesboro turned himself into authorities and was arrested two days later and charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. These dedicated students have fulfilled all the requirements See CNA page 6 Oglesby Named Watson Brown Scholar -Joe Brady Gauge Oglesby, son of Jason and Cara Oglesby brought home several awards at the EBA Honors Night. Gauge is a Honor Graduate at EBA and a Planters Scholarship recipient. To add to this list is now the coveted Watson Brown Scholarship. This year there was also a low turnout of participants. Our annual BBQ and Boogie may be different from years past, however, the few participants really showed us how barbecue should taste!
