tion, but five $50 bills of bait money were
included with the regular currency. Video
was obtained.
■ 2400 block of Morosgo Place, NE -A
robbery was reported on March 14. A wom
an dressed in black followed the victim to
her apartment complex, where she point
ed a gun at the victim and forced her to
go into her apartment. The suspect took
$400 in cash, a gold necklace and brace
let, and a bag of clothing. The suspect left
in a brown SUV.
■ 1900 block of Piedmont Circle, NE - A
pedestrian robbery was reported on March
14. A man said he was leaving a nightclub
and saw a group of men. One of the men
punched him in the mouth. He said after
he was punched, one of the men placed
a handgun to his chest while the other
emptied his pockets. He saw another man
standing in front of a black Ford Mustang.
This suspect also was holding a hand
gun that looked like a Bushmas-
ter Carbon 15 with an extend
ed clip. The victim said there
were about eight total sus
pects. Security said the sus
pects frequent the club and
hang out in the Riverdale
area.
■ 1000 block of Huff Road,
NW - A robbery at a residence
was reported on March 16. Three
unidentified men dressed in black
entered a woman’s home while she
was there, one knocking her out and
taking $50 cash, her North Carolina
driver’s license and her Social Se
curity card.
■ 3200 block of Peachtree
Road, NE - A commercial
robbery at a bank was re
ported on March 16. A man
handed to a teller a note
saying he was armed with a
weapon. He took $4,276. He
then left.
■ 3300 block of Peachtree Road,
NE - A commercial robbery at a bank was
reported on March 18. A man walked into
the bank, retrieved a deposit slip from the
island kiosk and wrote “Gun, loose bills”
on it, and handed it to a teller. The sus
pect verbally told the teller “I have a gun,
give me all your money.” The suspect left
on foot with $249, which contained a stack
of $20 bills strapped with a dye pack. The
suspect was later apprehended.
■ 800 block of Lenox Oaks Circle, NE - A
pedestrian robbery was reported on March
22. Four men robbed a woman at gun
point. They took the victim in her vehicle
and drove her around until they found an
ATM, where they withdrew $600 in cash. A
Blackberry, Social Security card, ATM card
and two watches were also taken.
BURGLARY
■ 2100 block of Whittier Place, NW - A
residential burglary was reported on March
12. The front door of the home was kicked
in. Three TVs, two cameras, a Kindle Fire,
X-Box, Nintendo DS, iPod and laptop were
stolen. Mattresses were also moved and
drawers rummaged through.
■ 3000 block of E. Shadowlawn Avenue,
NE - A commercial burglary was reported
on March 15. An unknown suspect forced
open the rear door of the business and
stole four metal tables.
■ 1500 block of Walthall Court, NW -
A residential burglary was reported on
March 19. An unknown suspect broke the
front window of the residence. A rock was
found in the room. Several guns, a safe
and $14,000 in cash were stolen from the
residence. No fingerprints were obtained.
A neighbor saw the suspect’s vehicle in the
driveway.
LARCENY
■ 1100 block of Lavista Road, NE - A lar
ceny was reported on March 10. Unknown
suspects removed the sign (Cups & Cakes)
off of the restaurant without permission.
■ 700 block of Courtenay Drive, NE -
A larceny from a residence was reported
on March 10. The victims said they went
outside and found their mail scattered all
over the neighbor’s yard. They then dis
covered a package that contained identi
fication bracelets was opened and the
bracelets were missing.

side Parkway, NW - A larce
ny from a business was re
ported on March 11. While
the gas station was closed
for business, it was entered
through an open door. Twen
ty cartons of cigarettes were
taken.
■ 1700 block of Ells
worth Industrial Boulevard, NW
- A larceny at a specialty store was re
ported on March 11. While shopping,
a man left his bag outside the
changing room. Upon returning
to his property, it was nowhere
to be found.
■ 1800 block of Howell
Mill Road, NE - A larceny
from a discount store was
reported on March 11. The
suspect entered the home
improvement area and shop
lifted four shower curtains
and one soda, passing all points
of sale.
■ 3200 block of Peachtree Road, NE -
A larceny from a bank was reported on
March 11. While at Wells Fargo, a wom
an was told that her safety deposit box
key was taken, the box emptied out, and
closed without her knowledge.
■ 4200 block of Wickersham Drive, NW
- A larceny from a residence was reported
on March 11. A woman said she thinks that
the exterminator might have taken her 3.5
karat earrings, while he was in her home.
■ 2500 block of Bolton Road, NW - A lar
ceny from a discount store was reported
on March 12. Two women entered the store
and each selected a pack of Huggies dia
pers. The suspects then passed all points
of sale without paying.
■ 1900 block of Peachtree Road, NW
-A larceny at a hospital was reported on
March 13. A woman said she works there
and was dropped off by her boyfriend. She
said she went to the passenger side of the
vehicle and leaned in to say goodbye when
a man wearing a black trench coat and
baseball hat snatched her purse. Hospital
security said they do have cameras.
