ported on March 14. A woman was seen se
lecting jewelry items from the shelves and
taking them into the dressing room. When
she exited the dressing room she did not
have the items in her hands. When she was
stopped and asked where she hid the jew
elry, she said she had them in her bra un
der her shirt.
■ 2600 block of Peachtree Road, NE - A
larceny from a restaurant was reported on
March 14. A man said he used the valet at
the location, and a patron picked up his
tablet and put it in her purse. The in
cident was caught on camera. The
restaurant has the woman’s name
and phone number but is unwitt
ing to give it to police without
a court order.
■ 2200 block of Peachtree
Road, NE -A larceny from
a restaurant was reported
on March 14. A woman left
her handbag sitting on the
back of a chair while she was
eating. Her wallet was tak
en. Upon leaving the restau
rant, she received a call from ’’
her credit card company alerting
her that her credit cards were being
used at Target and Staples.
■ 400 block of Peachtree Hills Avenue,
NE - A larceny was reported on March
15. A man snatched a woman’s phone
from the table and ran out of the building.
She ran after the suspect but was not able
to catch him. She felt to the ground as she
was running behind him, cause injuries to
her right knee.
■ 1900 block of Peachtree Road, NW -
A larceny at a hospital was reported on
March 16. A woman was asleep in
the lobby when her grey, snakeskin purse
was taken, which contained her passport,
driver’s license and $50 in cash. A suspect
was caught on tape.
■ 700 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard,
NE - A larceny was reported on March 17. A
man got a ride to QT with a woman who he
thought offered a taxi service. He gave her
his debit card and went to the restroom.
When he came out, she was gone.
■ 3300 block of Peachtree Road, NE - A
larceny from a specialty store was report
ed on March 23. The suspect selected a
pair of sunglasses and concealed them in a
bag. The suspect then placed the bag un
der a chair and left the store. The suspect
returned with a pair of scissors and cut the
security tag off the sunglasses. The sus
pect then attempted to pass the last point
of sale without paying for the item.
LARCENY FROM AUTO
■ 3300 block of Peachtree Road, NE - A
larceny from an auto in a parking lot was
reported on March 19. The driver’s side
door locks were damaged on two vehicles.
A black Smith & Wesson .40 caliber pistol,
an engraved silver Ruger P345 .45 caliber
pistol, a 12” hunting knife and a pair of
sunglasses were taken from the glove box
es.

lo Court, NE - A larceny from
an auto was reported on March
20. A woman said she parked
her vehicle in her driveway
and when she returned, she
noticed her purse on the
front seat was missing. She
said she left her vehicle un
secured.
AUTO THEFT
■ 2000 block of McKin
ley Road, NW - An auto theft
was reported on March 11. A man
left his keys in the ignition and the
vehicle running. When he returned to the
vehicle, it was gone.
■ 300 block of Peachtree Hills Avenue,
NE - An auto theft was reported on March
16. A man dropped his car keys, left them,
and went to his friend’s apartment to get
his phone. When he returned to where he
had dropped his keys, they were gone and
his vehicle was also gone.
■ 1800 block of Cheshire Bridge Road,
NE - An auto theft from a nightclub was re
ported on March 17. A man said he parked
his vehicle, a bluish/purple Porsche, in the
parking lot across from Onyx. During some
point he lost his keys in the club. The ve
hicle was not on lease and was fully paid
for. There were no signs of forced entry.
