Mayor wants to put brakes on apartments, mixed-use developments BY DYANA BAG BY dyanabagby@reporternewspapers.net Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst an nounced July 14 that he is seeking a moratorium on rezoning for high-den- sity development projects, specifically apartment complexes. Ernst made the announcement at one of the city’s kick-off meetings for its character area studies. Those in at tendance applauded the decision.
