Five applications have been
received for county elections
supervisor position that will
become vacant Dec. 14th
According to the Carroll County
Communications Director Ashley Hulsey,
Carroll County government has received five
(5) applications for the position of county
elections supervisor. Supervisor Greg Rigby’s
last day is Thursday, December 14th.
As this job is an At-Will position, supervi
sor will be hired by and answer to Carroll
County Commission Chair Michelle Morgan.

In this two-county race for one city mayor, there were 12,198 citizens
on the voter rolls, of which 1,121 (9.19%) participated in the Tuesday,
December 5, 2023 City of Villa Rica Runoff Election. Incumbent

“Giving Hearts Client Choice Pantry has exploded
as it relates to providing food. We opened on
February 21, 2023, starting with 64 customers. As of
October 31,2023, we have 552 clients, and are grow
ing. These figures do not include our Mobile Pantry,
Senior Supplemental Food Program, or our Family
Emergency Food Box Requests,” Denise Etienne

Among the items Denise needs are things we all

jelly, and syrup plus can openers and bags.

as a grocery store, where the person comes in and
shops for exactly what they need and want. “It is

The Mayor and City Council of Villa Rica
met on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 6:00
p.m. for regular monthly meeting. Newly
elected Council Member Stephanie Warmoth,
District 3, was sworn in by City Attorney
David Mecklin.
