UPSON COUNTY
is accepting applications for:
1 full time Code Enforcement Officer. A person
in this position will enforce compliance with county
code ordinances, will conduct investigations and will
inspect properties for violations. This position will
prepare accurate documentation and case files and
be responsible for all County Code Enforcement op
erations.
l full time Water Maintenance Technician in
the Utilities Department (Water & Waste). Individ
ual will be responsible for the operation and mainte
nance of the county owned water and sewer system.
Makes repairs to broken lines and water leaks, re
pairs water meters, pumps and other equipment. In
stalls water meters and reads water meter on
assigned route. Will be on call 24 hours. Must have
and maintain a Georgia Driver’s License.
1 part time for Event and Activities Assistant-
Civic Center for the Recreation Department. Some
duties include assisting with organizing, decorating,
and planning events at the Civic Center. Hours and
days of work will vary, to include mornings, evenings
and weekends. 25 hours weekly. Must be 18 years of
age.
2 part time for Event and Activities Assistant-
Athletics for the Recreation Department. Some
duties include assisting with organizing and planning
games, practices and sporting events at the Civic
Center and/or pool. Hours and days of work will
vary, to include mornings, evenings and weekends.
25 hours weekly. Must hold Red Cross lifeguard cer
tification and be 18 years of age.
4 part time for Recreation Activities Assistants-
Pool and Civic Center for Recreation Department.
Some duties include maintaining the pool and ensure
and implement safety guidelines for swimmers as
well as helping with events and activities at the Civic
Center and/or pool. Hours and days of work will
vary, to include mornings, evenings and weekends.
25 hours weekly
2 part time for Park Assistants for the Sprewell
Bluff Park. Some duties include assisting with organ
izing, decorating, and planning events at Sprewell
Bluff Park. Will also operate cash register, clean ca
bins and grounds. Hours and days of work will vary,
to include mornings, evenings and weekends. 29
hours weekly. Must be 18 years of age.
1 part time for Recreation Activities Manager
for the Recreation Department. Some duties include
managing the pool/facilities and supervision over
Activities Assistants (at pool). Will assist with events
at Civic Center. Hours and days of work will vary, to
include mornings, evenings and weekends. Up to 35
hours weekly. Must hold Red Cross lifeguard certifi
cation and be 18 years of age.

doubles. Ben Taylor, Cody

recorded hits in the victory.
