ance with county code ordinances, will conduct investigations and will inspect properties
for violations. This position will prepare accurate documentation and case files and be re
sponsible for all County Code Enforcement operations.
1 part time for Event and Activities Assistant-Civic Center for the Recreation De
partment. Some duties include assisting with organizing, decorating, and planning events
at the Civic Center. Hours and days of work will vary, to include mornings, evenings and
weekends. 25 hours weekly. Must be 18 years of age.
2 part time for Event and Activities Assistant-Athletics for the Recreation Depart
ment. Some duties include assisting with organizing and planning games, practices and
sporting events at the Civic Center and/or pool. Hours and days of work will vary, to in
clude mornings, evenings and weekends. 25 hours weekly. Must hold Red Cross lifeguard
certification and be 18 years of age.
4 part time for Recreation Activities Assistants-Pool and Civic Center for Rec
reation Department. Some duties include maintaining the pool and ensure and implement
safety guidelines for swimmers as well as helping with events and activities at the Civic
Center and/or pool. Hours and days of work will vary, to include mornings, evenings and
weekends. 25 hours weekly
2 part time for Park Assistants for the Sprewell Bluff Park. Some duties include assist
ing with organizing, decorating, and planning events at Sprewell Bluff Park. Will also op
erate cash register, clean cabins and grounds. Hours and days of work will vary, to include
mornings, evenings and weekends. 29 hours weekly. Must be 18 years of age.
1 part time for Recreation Activities Manager for the Recreation Department. Some
duties include managing the pool/facilities and supervision over Activities Assistants (at
pool). Will assist with events at Civic Center. Hours and days of work will vary, to include
mornings, evenings and weekends. Up to 35 hours weekly. Must hold Red Cross lifeguard
certification and be 18 years of age.
lfull time Appraisal Clerk in the Tax Assessor’s office. Under direct supervision of the
Chief Appraiser, individual must be able to perform a variety of duties generally in office
environment. Incumbent will provide clerical support to office staff, operate a multi-line
telephone, direct calls to appropriate office and/or take messages, prepare documentation
for Board of Equalization hearings, data entry, maintaining property files, assisting public
with property inquires.
Multiple part time/ seasonal positions for Pool Manager and Lifeguards for the Rec
reation Department. Rec Department will certify lifeguards (age 16 minimum). Hours
and days of work will vary, to include mornings, evenings and weekends.
1 full time Animal Control Officer at Animal Control. A person in this position is
responsible for impounding animals in violation of county ordinances and assisting in the
daily operations of the animal shelter. Some of the duties required are: feeding and wa
tering the animals daily, cleaning stalls daily and patrolling county roads for animals that
are in violation of county ordinances. On Call position.
1 full time Maintenance Worker in the Recreation Department. Individual will
be responsible for mowing, weed eating, and ball field preparation and other duties as as
signed. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Must possess and maintain Georgia Driver’s license,
with satisfactory history.
Multiple/u/Z time Maintenance Worker at the Road Department. Individual will
be responsible for repairing potholes, mowing right-of-ways, and other related duties as
required. Must possess and maintain Georgia Driver’s license, with satisfactory history.
