Nov. 5, 2002 at 2:56am and 2:59am I became a proud Father of beautiful twin girls. I remember every minute like it was yesterday weighing in at 3lbs 8oz and 31b 9oz. You all are one of the most
amazing things that has ever happened to me. Over the last 18 years I've learned so much about the both of you. Your strengths, your weaknesses, your ATTITUDES, to your love for family and
friends. Although I know I will cry tomorrow these tears will be for joy and memories and the anticipation of the journey that is ahead of you. Your lives have a purpose and are destined for great
things. Keep Jehovah in mind and pray every day and you will succeed. I know I have said this a thousand times and quite sure you both received whippings for this but march to your own beat
and not to others! Even if it means getting left out of "fun" things in life. Make sure no one else is to blame for your success and your failures but you! And continue to be concerned about your
character and integrity rather than your reputation. I know you two can hear my voice as you read this just like I can see those eyes rolling, GOOD! Means you are listening and I still love you.
You both have stayed on track and will graduate tomorrow. This is a major accomplishment. As you both head out start your lives don't forget about your dreams and goals you set for yourselves
and please remember to have each other backs. I love you both the same sometimes, but I do love you because I am your father and not your friend. I am so proud of the both of you and
whatever your future holds I am sure it will be amazing. From the family we have lost to the family that we have here to hold we love you!
• Stephanie and Stevie time has flown by so
fast I've watched you blossom into young
ladies. I pray that y'all continue on your path
to success, keep your head up and don't let
anyone tell you that can't do anything because
you can do anything just keep God first. Your
dad has done an awesome job with you both
and I'm grateful to be part of your lives.
Love, Carly CONGRATULATIONS!!!

• Stevie and Stephanie, you have grown into
young, Beautiful Black Woman. You are enter
ing a cruel but opportunistic world of chance
where the odds can be against you. Know this
Proud Father, Daddy
Stephanie and Stevie you never have and
never will allow the pains of this world stop
you from achieving all that you want from it.
Instead, I see you embracing every opportu
nity. You have amazed us all over the years but
never surprised us with negativity. Your her
itage stems from the greatness of your Grand
mother "Gloria Ann Carriker Gray. So, know,
with the DNA you derived from, greatness has
already been laid out for you. It's your job to
follow that path. It's your job to make that
path longer and wider for the young women
who follow in your footsteps. It's your job to
be great! I So to you, The Two Princess of this
family, we have no doubt you will break ceil
ings and achieve all that's out there for each
of you. As a family we are waiting, supporting
and depending on you two to carry our name
into history. If I may, I want to offer a piece of
advice. "Make sure your feet are in the right
place and once they are, you stand firm in all
that you believe and care for." There so many
things in this world to believe in and stand for.
Make sure those things are righteous and true
and if so, fight like hell for them, never waiver,
never give up and refuse to fall but if you ever
feel you are about to buckle, call on us, your
family will always be here to support!! Your
Proud Uncle and Aunt, Elbert Jr and Mary Love
• Always remember you two are braver than
you believe... you both are stronger than
seems.... smarter than you think and LOVED
more than you ever know... Aunt tone tone
loves you guys so and I'm so proud ofyall.
Ladies, please know that I'm so proud of you
both. You have become such strong, loving
and responsible young Ladies. As you both go
one to face the future keep these things in
mind. Jehovah loves you, I love you and no
matter what you're family, we will always be
there for you. Love always, Aunt Donna
