IT'S GETTING HOT OUT, PLEASE TAKE CARE
OF YOUR ANIMALS... the ASPCA has some great
tips on keeping our pets healthy during the
summer... Visit the vet for a spring or early -
summer checkup. Make sure your pets get tested
for heartworms... Pets can get dehydrated
quickly, so give them plenty of fresh, clean water.
Make sure your pets have a shady place to get out
of the sun, be careful not to over-exercise them,
and keep them indoors when it’s extremely hot...
Know the symptoms of overheating in pets,
which include excessive panting or difficulty
breathing, increased heart and respiratory rate,
drooling, mild weakness, stupor, or even col
lapse. Symptoms can also include seizures...
Never leave your animals alone in a parked ve
hicle. Not only can it lead to fatal heat stroke, it is
illegal in several states... It’s good to trim longer
hair on your dog, but never shave your dog. The
layers of dogs’ coats protect them from overheat
ing and sunburn. Brushing cats more often than
usual can prevent problems caused by excessive
heat... for more information visit aspca.org.

What has happened to the
conscience of the people that
say they are Christians?
Those that are in a church, but live ungodly lives.
Living like this, but never having conviction. Some
of these have jobs in their church, some sing spe
cials, and some stand behind the pulpit looking the
rehearsed part of presenting themselves to be what
they are not.
We find many scriptures in the Word of God that
tells what has gone wrong, but I want to share what
is found in I Timothy 4:1,2. We read in those verses
what to look for in the latter times. Several things are
listed, but I want to mention one from that list.
“Having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”
This is one sign that we are in the latter times
when professing Christians live like the world lives
and have no guilty conscience. These find a way to
justify the way they live and never have one ounce of
a bothered conscience. I have often said that the pro
fessing Christians that sin all day and score all night
need to seriously check their professing Christian
