Mrs. Alice Bernice
Bronner, age 61, of Thomas-
ton, passed away Wednes
day, June 16, 2021, at Upson
Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in
death by her Daddy and
Momma, Aaron and Frances
Fuller; her three brothers
and sister, Freddy Fuller,
Jimmy Fuller, Wayne Fuller,
and Linda Fields.
She is survived by her
children, David Bronner of
Sarasota, Fla., Joe Bronner
Sarasota, Fla., and David
and Kassy Levitt of Thomas-
ton; sisters, Jean Tarleton
of Thomaston, Audrey Shee-
key of Melbourne, Fla., and
Karen “Joyce” Evans of
Thomaston; grandchildren,
Abigail ’’Abbey” Newell Sar
asota, Fla., Hunter Newell
Sarasota, Fla., Brooke Levitt
of Thomaston, Khloe Levitt
of Thomaston, Joshua Levitt
of Thomaston, Asher Levitt
of Thomaston, and Ivan
Levitt of Thomaston; nieces
and nephews, Amy Wright
of Thomaston, Robin and
Misty Garner of Concord,
and Timmy Jones of Thom
aston; among many other
extended family.
She worked for the state
of Florida for 30 years and
was retired.
Alice, more affection
ately known to her grand
children as “Mimi,” enjoyed
working in her yard and al
ways had a project going.
Her house was a house of
love and treats for her chil
dren and her grandchildren.
However, she may be re
membered most with a sim
ple smile on her face and a
Dr. Pepper in her hand.
Her body will be donated
to the Registry of Anatomy
for science study and re
search. She will not have a

Mrs. Georgia Mae Gray
Ellerbee, age 78, of Davis
Lake Road, passed Friday,
June 11, 2021 at her res
idence.
Graveside services were
held Thursday, June 17 at
Southview Cemetery. Pastor
J.D. Walker officiated, as
sisted by Pastor Jimmy
Lyons and Evangelist San
dra T. Trice.
She attended public
schools in Upson County, at
tending Thomaston Train
ing School. Mrs. Ellerbee
was a member of Rising Star
Baptist Church. She was em
ployed by Martha Mill Tex
tiles.
She is survived by two
children, Vincent Lamar
(Teresa) Ellerbee and
Yvonne Ellerbee, both of
Thomaston; six grandchil
dren; 20 great-grandchil
dren; three sisters, Ms.
Grade Gray, Ms. Gloria
"Molly" Gray, and and Mrs.
Dorothy (Calvin) Penny-
man, all of Thomaston; one
sister-in-law, Mrs. Ger
aldine Gray of Columbus; a
host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and other relatives
and friends.
Trice Funeral Home was in

"Crackcorn" Ellerbee
Mr. James Clark "Crack-
corn" Ellerbee, age 91, of
Thomaston, passed away
Friday, June 18, 2021 at Riv
erside Health and Rehab.
Mr. Ellerbee was born
Feb. 1, 1930 in Thomaston,
to the late Robert M. Eller
bee and the late Willie Lee
Holliman Ellerbee. He was a
self-employed master car
penter, and a member of
Hendricks Baptist Church.
Mr. Ellerbee served his
country in the U.S. Army in
Korea.
In addition to his par
ents, he was preceded in
death by his wife, Doris Mc
Daniel Ellerbee; brother,
Robert Lee (Margaret) Eller
bee; and sister Eleanor
(Alvin) Jimmerson.
Survivors include his
sons, Rodney (Francine) El
lerbee of Watkinsville and
Kevin (Lola) Ellerbee of
Molena; grandchildren,
Crystal Messner and Megan
Barker; five great-grandchil
dren; special nieces, Andrea,
Brenda, Linda, and Bonnie.
The family will receive
friends Thursday, June 24,
from noon until 1 p.m. at
Coggins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Betty Ann Williams
Harrell, age 75, of Barnes -
ville, passed away Thursday,
June 17, 2021, at Pike
Manor.
Mrs. Harrell was born
Thursday, Jan. 3, 1946 in
Griffin. She was the daugh
ter of the late Elmer Leroy
Williams and the late Annie
Mae White Williams. Betty
was also preceded in death
by her husband, Samuel Al
exander Harrell.
She worked at Aldora
Mills as a purchasing man
ager. Betty played basketball
for Milner High School,
where they went to state.
She loved to read and watch
television.
Betty is survived by her
daughters and sons-in law,
Samantha and Dane Bishop,
Amanda and Brian Woods,
and Crystal and David
Wingfield; grandchildren,
Calvin Adams, Cayla Bishop,
Cara Bishop, Justin Boyett,
Abigail Foster, Conner
Woods, Joseph Foster,
Dylan Woods, and Samuel
Wingfield; and great-grand
children, Memphis Boyett
and Bentley Boyett.

Mr. Carl Bruce James,
age 82, of Thomaston, died
Monday, June 21, 2021, at
his residence.
Mr. James was born July
3,1938 in Thomaston, to the
late Carl Lee James, and the
late Louise Eubanks James.
He retired from Yamaha
after 24 years as the mainte
nance supervisor, and was a
member of Kingdom Hall
Jehovah's Witness Church.
In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by his
daughters, Kimberly James
and Melody James Kemp;
and sister, Patsy McLemore.
Survivors include his
wife, Janis Morris James of
Thomaston; Kayla James
(Randy) Teal of Thomaston;
sister, Elenor Belcher of
Thomaston; grandchildren,
Steven Thompson, Jennifer
Pitts, David Martin, Janice
Kemp; and 10 great-grand
children.
Funeral services will be
held Saturday, June 26, at 2
p.m. from the chapel of Cog
gins Funeral Home. Burial
will follow at Southview
Cemetery. The family will
receive friends one hour
prior to the service at Cog
gins Funeral Home.

Mr. Reginald Antoine
Reviere, more affectionately
known as "Reggie," age 32,
of East Walker Street,
passed Saturday, June 12,
2021 at Upson Regional
Medical Center.
Funeral services were
held Saturday, June 19, in
Monroe G. Worthy Gym.
Brother Trent Daniel offici
ated. Interment was in
Southview Cemetery.
Reggie graduated from
Upson High School. He was
formerly employed by Ken
tucky Fried Chicken. In No
vember 2019, Reggie made
his dedication to Jehovah
God and was baptized as one
of Jehovah's witnesses.
He is survived by his
mother, Gloria Little Reviere
of Thomaston; one son, Lan-
dyn Reviere of Thomaston;
four sisters, Latisha Reviere,
Angela Burnette, Ms. Many
Reviere, and Ms. Ashley Re
viere, all of Thomaston; one
brother, Mr. Vester Reviere,
Jr. of Thomaston; aunts and
uncles include Christine
(Cornelius) Ivey, Roberta
Little, Doris Little, George
Little, Queen Zorn, and
John Zorn, all of Thomas
ton, and Ms. Tracy Baker of
Barnesville; great-aunts and
uncles include Fred Rogers,
Minnie Lee Little, Lillie
Rogers, Georgia Mae Green,
and Betty Little, all of Thom
aston, and Rose Lee London
of Miami, Fla.; two devoted
friends, Brianda Searcy and
Jeremy Walker; a close
cousin and friend, John
Nicholas Zorn; a host of de
voted nieces, nephews,
cousins and other relatives
and friends who will all miss
him dearly.

Mrs. Bettye M. Ridley,
age 71, of Timber Falls Court
in Thomaston, passed away
on Friday, June 11, 2021 at
her residence.
Funeral services were
held Saturday, June 19 at
Pine Grove Baptist Church
in Yatesville. Interment fol
lowed in the church ceme
tery. Rev. Jeremy Williams
is the pastor and Doctor-
Minister Marye M. Smith
was the eulogist. Bentley’s &

cherish his memories, her

Rogers
Mr. Watson Paul Rogers,
age 58, of Thomaston, died
Saturday, June 19, 2021, at
Upson Regional Medical
Center.
Mr. Rogers was born
Aug. 21, 1962, in Chicago,
Ill., to the late Hugh Rogers
and the late Frances Dur-
rough Rogers. He retired
from Upson County in 2014
as the building and mainte
nance superintendent. Prior
to that, he worked for
Thomaston Mills. He
coached many recreation
department football and
baseball teams, and church
league softball. Mr. Rogers
was a member of Clark's
Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his par
ents, he was preceded in
death by his sister, Judy
Teal.
Survivors include his
wife of 38 years, Melinda El
lington Rogers of Thomas
ton; daughter, Ashley (Josh)
Bagley of Thomaston; son,
Jordan (Chelle) Rogers of
Thomaston; brother, John
Wallace; sisters, Belinda
Mazurkiewicz of Alabama,
and Elizabeth Green; grand
children, Kolton Snyder,
Levi Bagley, and Ella-Kate
Bagley; and nephew, Matt
(Amanda) Teal of Warner
Robins.
Funeral services were
held Wednesday, June 23,
from the chapel of Coggins
Funeral Home. Burial fol
lowed at Crystal Hill Ceme
tery.

Mr. Charles Lucious
"Luke" Owsley, Jr., age 60,
of Thomaston, died Sunday,
June 20, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Owsley was born in
Thomaston Sept. 21, i960, a
son of the late Charles Lu
cious Owsley, Sr., and the
late Nadean Boyd Owsley.
Mr. Owsley was a heavy
equipment operator and
also worked in the construc
tion industry. He was a
member of Twin Oaks Bap
tist Tabernacle.
Mr. Owsley is survived
by a daughter, Heather; an
aunt, Sally Ivie of Utah; and
an uncle, David (Shirley)
Owsley of Thomaston. In
addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by his
brother, Billy Gay Owsley.
Graveside funeral serv
ices will be held Friday, June
25, at 11 a.m. in South View
Cemetery, with Rev. Bran
don Redden officiating.
