Letter to The Editor:
Education versus Indoctrination
America.
Unless one has spent the
last year or so in a cave, he
should certainly be aware of
the challenges that students
across America have endured
due to the chaos caused by
the covid 19 pandemic. The
effects of this past year are
yet to be determined, but I
can't help but think that
there will be great academic
damage done to many of our
students, as well as emo
tional damage because of the
element of fear associated
with the widespread conver
sation about this disease that
was always in the news.
As if that was not enough,
we have political activists
and politicians attempting to
further divide our country by
spreading lies about Critical
Race Theory, white privilege,
and white supremacy. I un
derstand that Gov. [Brian]
Kemp has stated that these
subjects would not be taught
in Georgia and I have been
been assured by some board
members that they would not
be taught in Thomaston-
Upson Schools.
We elect our school
board members and trust
them to do what is right for
our children, but that is not
always the case. According to
an article published in The
American School Board
Journal a few years back, 85
percent of school boards vote
in lock step with their super
intendent. The superinten
dent and board are a team
and should function as such.
In the words of former
President Ronald Reagan,
"Trust but verily." If you have
questions or disagree with
some of the decisions that
are being made locally, go to
the school board meetings
and make your voice heard.
That's the LEAST that our
students deserve!
These problems are not
going away any time soon, so
we need to be prepared when
they show up.

To the Editor:
There has been never a
more critical time for people
who are concerned about the
future of public education to
become informed and edu
cated about what is taking
place in communities across
Can you imagine watching
someone you love have a heart
attack and there isn’t an ambu
lance available? Can you imag
ine being a first responder and
healthcare professional and not
being able to help when a call
comes in? That is exactly where
we are now, and it’s time we all
pay attention. Our responders
(and patients) lack support ac
ross the board.
We have had lots and lots of
complaints about ambulance re
sponse times for months now.
Business executives from Com
munity Ambulance say ambu
lance services across the state

Big Business is
Ruining Our
EMS Service
are struggling to find help, it’s
the pandemic, it’s this or that,
and some of that may be true.
But I also think that if Com
munity had been held account
able when we started losing
paramedics and ENTs locally,
we wouldn’t have this problem.
Our people were and are the
best people, and they were
forced to find employment with
other companies. There are also
other factors like the state allow
ing big businesses to take over
that portion of the healthcare
field, licensing, liability, and I
am sure there are lots of other
factors too.
Typically, when a call comes
in for ambulance service, there
is a paramedic (medic in charge)
on duty with the EMTs. Well,
that is simply not the case here
in our region. When Community
Ambulance medics respond to a
call, more times than not, there
isn’t a paramedic on duty. That
is bad for everyone involved.
Our medics are being put in
terrible, unsafe, and live altering
positions that could jeopardize
their health, reputations, their
licenses, and livelihood. Even
with the pay raises Community
doled out earlier this year, their
pay still stinks. A case of too lit
tle too late and it still doesn’t
outweigh the risks. The position
they are currently in is definitely
not worth it. The situation also
puts the health and wellbeing of
the patient at high risk, because
sometimes there isn’t an ambu
lance available at all.
Our medics have to leave our
area to assist the other counties
Community serves and vice-
versa on a fairly regular basis.
They are responsible for re
sponding to emergencies, non
emergency medical transports,
and calls that do not warrant an
ambulance.
Community Ambulance
holds the state license for this
region which includes Upson
and Lamar. They have a contract
with the county which outlines
the services they are supposed
to provide. We have three locals
including our county manager
on the state board. Unfor
tunately, the state has us in a
bind with its rules and regula
tions on licenses and regional
territories.
Community isn’t living up to
its end of the contract and hasn’t
for a long time. They waited
until local medics started leav
ing to make a few changes and
then it wasn’t enough, and it was
too late.
I think we need to force
Community to step up with
some new management and pol
icies or we need to dump them,
because right now, they are the
only ones benefitting from all
this.
We need to know who is in
charge. To me, business ex
ecutives and Department of
Health officials are the folks
who messed this all up to begin
with. We have lost several good,
local paramedics, and ENTs
under Community Ambulance’s
reign and I think it’s time to
bring it back home. I realize that
it would be expensive, but some
thing has to be done. Like I said,
our local professionals are the
best.
While we are at it, I think we
should dump the state board,
council, or whatever it is, be
cause it is not effective, at least
not here. The city and county
need to form a joint committee,
composed of professional first
responders that will oversee all
of this, hold folks accountable,
and figure out the best way to fix
this mess.

I’m Just Say in’:
Dems, Media
Clinging to Virus,
Trump, Jan. 6
For a while, I thought Demo
crats and their mouthpieces, the
liberal media, continued to talk
about all things Donald Trump
because of pure hatred for the
man. Or perhaps it simply was
difficult to break a five-year
habit.
After all, the past President
was defeated, flew away to Flor
ida (he did not barricade himself
in the White House as Bill Maher
predicted), and faded from the
forefront. Twitter, Facebook,
and other social media silenced
him even further.
Common sense would sug
gest that the left not dwell on
bad memories of the orange
man, but rather celebrate his ab
sence and move forward with a
fresh, positive outlook toward
the future of a Democrat-run
country with progressive pol
icies. That is far from the case.
Since the reversal of Trump’s
policies, we have a crisis of ille
gal immigration at our southern
border, overall inflation is more
than five percent with certain
categories much higher, it costs
twice as much to fill a vehicle
with gas, and crime continues to
rise at a record pace. The latest,
Biden reportedly is considering
a “death tax” which could “redis
tribute” almost 70 percent of
some Americans’ inheritance.
Worst of all, Biden and his
administration have fueled ra
cial tension and political divi
sion. Democrats and media
constantly refer to Trump’s elec
tion objection as “the big lie,” but
the biggest lie was Biden’s cam
paign platform and inauguration
speech promising to heal.
I am convinced that since
most Americans can no longer
ignore the failing policies of the
new regime, Democrats believe
their best chance to remain in
power is to ensure that Trump’s
name remains attached to the
Republican Party. After all, they
beat him once.
Similarly, they cling to
COVID-19. Rather than cele
brate the progress made against
the virus (which would mean ac
knowledging record develop of a
vaccine under the Trump ad
ministration), Democrats and
the media warn of looming mu
tations which could return us to
lockdown status.
Their third ace in the hole is
the Jan. 6 “deadly insurrection.”
This must remain top-of-mind
awareness, repeatedly attached
to Trump, who is attached to the
Republican Party. Never mind
that it paled in comparison to
the ongoing chaos across the
country since George Floyd’s
death.
We have watched videos of
people beating and killing each
other and police for months,
burning property, carrying flat-
screen TVs out of looted busi
nesses, you name it. But let’s
turn all those “peaceful pro
testers” loose and throw away
the key for the guy who propped
his feet on Nancy Pelosi’s desk.
Somehow, that was worse.
Afterward, we were warned
of another “insurrection” coming
March 4. Millions of dollars were
spent keeping National Guards
men in Washington, sometimes
sleeping on concrete parking
decks, for months. March 4
came and went, with only the
sound of crickets.
I hope voters will not be
fooled by constant harping on
the virus, Trump’s “big lie” and
the “deadly insurrection.”
Rather, ask yourself if you’re
better off now. Ask if you’re com
fortable with the direction of the
country. Ask if you trust an ad
ministration which avoids ques
tions and refuses to confront
obvious problems.
On a different topic, hats off
to the group of parents who chal
lenged a New Jersey school
board which chose to remove
holidays like Thanksgiving and
Christmas from the school cal
endar, replacing them with “day
off.” Those parents prevailed be
cause they did not grease the
squeaky wheel of woke, cancel
culture morons.
It’s a step in the right direc
tion.
Gain of Function
Fauci Fraud
As each day passes, it is more
and more evident that this admin
istration and the radical Democrat
Party that is deliberately destroy
ing the country is nothing more
than a bunch of lying posers/ac-
tors.
They are completely incompe
tent, always have been, and always
will be. Their only talent is "mak
ing a bad situation worse.” Where
there is no problem, they create
problems with no intention of solv
ing them, but only to exploit them
for some twisted and warped polit
ical agenda.
They merely know how to
"pose" or "act" as if they know
what they are doing. Of course
knowing their audience, Democrat
voters have proven they will fall for
anything, and it certainly makes
their job of pretending to be com
petent easier.
But hey, it fooled enough Dem
ocrat voters to allow the Deep State
and Biden’s corrupt Democrat op
eratives to steal the election, and
that is considered success in the
radical Marxist Democrat Party.
Since stealing the election in a
hundred different ways, the only
accomplishment of Biden and the
Marxist radical Democrat Con
gress is to do everything possible to
divide and destroy our country
with lies and distortions, which in
reality is just an extension of what
they did when trying to overthrow
the Trump Presidency.
The fake Russia scandal/dos
sier in which the FBI, CIA, NSA,
DOJ, and every other collection of
Deep State goons in the cesspool
swamp of bureaucracies that infest
our government, two fake Im
peachments with no crime, are ex
amples.
They have managed to destroy
all credibility and trust in the once
revered institutions we mistakenly
thought existed to safeguard our
democratic republic; only to find
out they are traitors that sought
and still seek to deceive and divide
us for their own power's sake. And
it continues now with reckless
abandon, especially since there is
no one (Trump) to stand in their
way.
Call them what you may - Fas
cist, Marxist, Communist, radicals,
Nazis - their strategies and tactics
to undermine/destroy a free and
open society are indistinguishable
from each other.
With all the progress we've
made in race relations, to see and
hear these repugnant fools that are
racist themselves accusing the rest
of us of being racist is a prime ex
ample of their lies. It is up to the
rest, of all races, to stand up
against these vicious lies and tell
BLM, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi,
AOC, Talib, and the rest of these
fools that we know it is just a new
version of race baiting and we're
not biting. They are the new KKK.
The good news is normal, de
cent folks of all races are beginning
to stand up and reject with ex
treme prejudice these lies, Critical
Race Theory and other racist doc
trine that the Democrats are trying
to poison our children and society
with. Parents/citizens are rising up
at school board meetings,
city/county councils that have
been infiltrated by these Marxist
radicals, and letting them know
this is not going to stand. We won't
allow our children, our schools,
and our communities to be poi
soned by their toxic lies and hate.
We all reject it.
It is becoming more apparent
why Biden, Christopher Wray, the
fraud that is director of the FBI,
along with every other fraud in the
Democrat Party Deep State and
fake news media have been so hell
bent on fabricating the lie that Jan.
6 was the greatest tragedy since
Pearl Harbor, 9-11, and the Civil
War... it appears the FBI and other
federal agencies as with all the im
peachments and traitorous activ
ities during the Trump presidency,
were intimately involved with stag
ing/instigating/abetting the so-
called riot by planting agents and
informants in the crowds to en
courage the attack at the Capitol.
Over 14,000 hours of video
footage of the so-called riot have
not been released. Can you say
cover-up? Can you say entrap
ment?
And just for a little icing on the
cake to remind us what a bunch of
sick and twisted individuals we’re
up against in this radical Marxist
Democrat Party, emails show Dr.
Fauci, the creepy, smug, arrogant
little garden gnome and infallible,
unquestionable bureaucrat and
Chinese virus darling of Democrats
and the fake news media, as head
of the NIAH for decades was using
our tax dollars to illegally finance a
banned experimentation process
called “gain of function” at the
Wuhan Chinese lab that created
and then released the plague that
killed millions.
The insane “gain of function”
that Fauci funded is an outlawed
process in which lab scientists take
a harmless virus, genetically mon
key around with it to intentionally
turn it into a deadly virus that has
never existed (novel), then attempt
to develop medicines to cure the
disease they created.
Follow the science??? Right.
What a bunch of maniacs. But we
must remember they had an elec
tion to steal and Trump to destroy,
so the truth about Fauci had to be
hidden.
