God Delivered Me from PTSD
Several years ago, we
adopted four siblings. In
2016, God answered our
prayers and provided for us
to go to Be in Health for the
For My Life family week and
the Walk Out Workshop®.
We learned so much
and experienced some
wonderful breakthroughs
for our whole family. Then,
at the Friday night service, another boy shared his
testimony about forgiving his birth parents. That night
our eldest son was struggling; he told me that he had
never forgiven his birth parents, and he still hated them.
My husband and I talked with him about some of the
things we had learned that week. Finally, he prayed to
forgive them.
Now there is a real joy in him that wasn't there before. He
hugs me every day and says he loves me. He thanks me
for adopting him, and says, "I don't know where I'd be if
you hadn't adopted me." We'd had a lot of ups and downs
with this son over the years, so this is huge! -Bonnies S.
