The Jews which believed
not, said something concern
ing Paul and Silas in Acts 17
that probably sounds strange
today. They said those two men “have turned the
world upside down.”
These days you have people in leadership in the
work of God that don’t want to rock the boat, tip toe
around, and afraid that someone might get upset...
allowing certain people to control them as if they
were called to please men and not to please God.
The main priority of those called by God and sent
out by God is not to win the favorite of the year.
Jesus said in Luke 6:26, “Woe unto you, when all
men shall speak well of you. For so did their fathers
to the false prophets.”
We all want friends and those that appreciate
what we do. But our greatest desire is to please the
Lord Jesus Christ that saved our soul from hell. At
the end of the day, if He is pleased, then we have had
a good day.
Getting back to Acts 17 where it speaks of turning
the world upside down: Most will live and die and
never accomplish anything for the glory of God.
