Mountain View Baptist Church
hosted its annual Thanksgiving mini
stry, Families Feeding Families, last
weekend.
During this time, volunteers from
the church and community prepare
and package meals to be distributed to
local families in need on Thanksgiving.
Throughout the week, the volunteers
cook turkeys, dressing, vegetables, and
desserts. This year, this ministry pro
vided meals for about 225 families.
Cadets from the Upson-Lee
NJROTC volunteered to help with this
community initiative by putting boxes
together, preparing ingredients, and
cleaning the workspace.
The community is thankful for
Mountain View Baptist Church and its
initiative to help families in need dur
ing the holidays.

We are thankful and ex
cited for the opportunity to
present “From the Christ Child to The Judgment”
this coming weekend, Dec. 3-5. The play will begin
at 7 p.m. Friday and at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
We missed last year because of covid, so we are
looking for a double blessing this year. This presen
tation takes the commitment of many, but when the
curtain is pulled for the last time on Sunday, we al
ways look back over the weekend and see the great
work of God.
Out of town groups may reserve seats by calling
706-647-6169 or 706-647-2209. It is still amazing
after these years to see God’s anointing upon this.
The liberal church has taken so much out that’s
necessary to be left alone. The gospel is still bloody,
hell is still real, being born again is still the only way
to salvation, and Heaven still awaits the children of
God.
Make plans to see this weekend, “From the Christ
Child to The Judgment.”
