A group of 17 senior cit
izens traveled to Blue
Ridge and Ellijay on Tues
day, Nov. 23. The itinerary
included the following:
Mercier Orchards, an
apple orchard which in
cludes a combination of U-
PICK events; Baker &
Market Cafe, Market Store,
and Farm Winery; Country
Corner Kitchen, where a
delicious meal was en
joyed, and the customer
service was wonderful;
Panorama Orchards &
Farm Market, where the
group of seniors were able
to see the packing shed
where the apples are
graded.
Thanks to Donna Auth
for such a well-planned
event. Thank you also goes
out to their favorite bus
driver, Mr. Clifford (Rico)
Andrews, for the safe trip
to and from the north
Georgia area. All glory goes
to God for safe travels. The
group is looking forward to
their next trip on Dec. 17.

next year, including more

The new department
will include five drive-
through bays and an
emergency traffic light,
which will be activated
when calls are received,
stopping traffic and al
lowing fire engines to
safely and quickly re
spond to emergencies.
