Comprehensive Plan
The City of Dawsonville
invites all interested
persons to attend a public
hearing concerning the
development of the 2018
Comprehensive Plan. The
Plan is required to comply
with the Georgia Planning
Act of 1989. The hearing
is intended to inform the
public about the purpose of
the Plan and the planning
process, to discuss
the Plan development
schedule, and provide an
explanation of the public
participation process to be
followed by the City during
the preparation of the Plan.
Opportunity will also be
provided for interested
citizens to have input on
local needs and issues.
The public hearing will be
held in the City Council
Chambers on the 2nd Floor
of the Dawsonville City Hall

Public Notice of Intention
to Abandon a Portion of
Will Hall Road
Notice is hereby given
that Dawson County, by
and through its Board of
Commissioners, intends to
declare that removal of a
portion of a certain road
known as Will Hall Road
from the County road
system is in the best public
interest, and to declare
that said section of Will Hall
Road shall be abandoned
and no longer be a public
road. The portion of Will
Hall Road to be abandoned
if approved by the Board
of Commissioners is the
final section of the road,
consisting of not more
than 1,020 linear feet; this
is a portion where it is
bordered upon both sides
of the road by property
owned by Patricia and
Donnie Crump, and it dead
ends into property owned
by the Crumps as well.
The portion in question is
shown on a plat or sketch,
which may be viewed by
the public during regular
business hours in the
Public Works office on the
second floor of the Dawson
County Government
Center at 25 Justice Way,
Dawsonville, GA.
The following parties may
have an interest in the
property adjoining the
portion of the road to be
abandoned: Patricia and
Donnie Crump.
The Board of
Commissioners shall
conduct this abandonment
proceeding pursuant to
O.C.G.A. §32-7-1 et seq.

comments on the
proposed abandonment
shall be held during
the regularly scheduled

single-lane roundabouts.
The purpose of this
Location and Public
Information Open House is
to provide the public with
an opportunity to view the
project, ask questions, and
comment on the project.
The Open House will be
held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00
p.m. It will be informal,
and the public is invited
to attend anytime during
these hours. There will be
no formal presentation.

available to allow the
public an opportunity to
make verbal comments
about the project.
